Building inspections are overseen by the city inspector, who works alongside property owners and builders to ensure that all new construction is being done in a safe manner. Using internationally recognized building codes, inspections are scheduled at regular points throughout your building process. Commercial inspections are done in cooperation with the Lake Ozark Fire Protection District, but residential construction is handled entirely by the city inspector.
