Capital Improvement Plan Adopted

At the August 22th Board of Aldermen meeting, Resolution Number 2023 R-31 was passed. This resolution adopts the 2024-2026 Capital Improvement Plan for the City of Lake Ozark that was previously reviewed at the August 8th work session of the Board.

The Capital Improvement Plan is a three-year schedule of all proposed major capital improvement projects including project priorities, costs estimates, methods of financing, and annual costs for the proposed projects. Each fall, the Capital Improvement Plan will be revised for next fiscal year prior to the annual budgeting process. This tool identifies priority road, sewer, and water system improvements to take place throughout the City of Lake Ozark, as well as the anticipated budget and timeline for each project.

Capital improvement planning and budgeting allow officials and citizens to set priorities for capital expenditures and ensure maximum physical benefit for a minimum capital expenditure through an orderly process of project development, scheduling, and implementation.
