Spring Cleanup in Lake Ozark

 Here’s some good news for you Lake Ozark residents who need to clean out the garage, or the basement, or the backyard or even your closets:

The annual Spring Cleanup will be held April 19-23, with items to be taken to the Street Department, 1323 School Road, during regular hours.

Here’s a list of what can and cannot be taken to the cleanup site: 

Acceptable Items:

•Furniture, knick-knacks, lamps

•Appliances, (washers, dryers, kitchen appliances, electrical)

•Tools, car parts 

•Cloth items (drapes, linens, clothes, tarps)

•Plastic, glass, metal, rubber

•One truck load per household remodel trash (i.e. drywall, insulation, paneling, lumber, and concrete)

 

Items Not Allowed:

•Batteries, Paint or Chemicals

•Anything with Freon, including A/C units, refrigerators, freezers

–(Not even if they are drained) 

•Household trash

•Yard waste:  grass leaves plants, rocks

•Brown goods (ie T.V., computers etc.)
