City of Lake Ozark

Welcome to The City of Lake Ozark

The city of Lake Ozark is a breathtakingly beautiful and rapidly growing community of 1,800 full-time residents located at the gateway to the Lake of the Ozarks. From area retail shopping, to a new movie theater, or a relaxing day on the lake, Lake Ozark is a vacationing paradise that has something for everyone.

If you are here to enjoy the water, check out the many boat and personal watercraft rental businesses -- the lake has it all. The historic Bagnell Dam Strip -- aka “The Strip” to most -- is where you will find activities for the family and a variety of dining and entertainment options. But there’s more to Lake Ozark than The Strip.

A growing shopping center at The Shoppes at Eagles Landing offers a balanced option for residents and visitors; several fine dining restaurants raise the bar for those with a refined palate; a nationally renowned golf course and residential development are nestled along the Osage River; and there are plans afoot to continue to expand the residential, commercial and industrial bases. And our history runs deep.

The city of Lake Ozark has an eye to the future, while never ignoring its roots.
