Demolition Services
Project Summary
he City of Lake Ozark is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors to provide complete
demolition services for twenty-three (23) structures identified in the City’s approved FY25 CDBG Competitive
Demolition Project.
This procurement is conducted in accordance with Missouri CDBG Procurement guidelines (Chapter 9), 2 CFR
§ 200.319, and applicable federal and state requirements. All work will be performed after licensed asbestos
abatement has been completed on the properties that require it by a separate licensed abatement contractor.
The project will eliminate slum and blight conditions in accordance with the City’s ordinances and the CDBG
national objective of Elimination of Slum and Blight on a Spot Basis (SBS).
Important Timeline Note: Because asbestos abatement will be completed prior to the start of the demolition
window, the 60-day demolition schedule will be strictly enforced. Requests for additional time beyond
weather-related delays are not anticipated and will not be routinely granted. The process has been streamlined;
bidders should plan accordingly.
. BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Sealed bids must be submitted to the office of the City Clerk at the address above no later than 2:00 p.m. CDT
on SEPTEMBER 10. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time and place.
• No faxed or emailed bids will be accepted.
• Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee equivalent to five percent (5%) of the total bid
amount. The guarantee may be in the form of a bid bond or certified check and must be included with
the bid.
• No bidder may withdraw its bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the bid opening.
• Submit 1 original and 5 copies of the complete bid package in the exact order shown in Section 5.
