Small Business Saturday – Holiday Passport Stroll: Mayor David Ridgely has proclaimed Saturday, November 29th, 2025 as Small Business Saturday in Lake Ozark. Part of a nationwide initiative to encourage people to shop and support locally owned businesses in their own community, the Bagnell Dam Strip Association is hosting their Light Up The Strip event for a festive day of shopping, strolling, dining and holiday cheer! New this year is the Holiday Passport Stroll, where area businesses are stamping event passports so that folks who visit several businesses may be entered to win a prize package. Elected Officials Recognized

At Tuesday night’s Board of Aldermen meeting, Mayor Newberry administered the oath of office to aldermen recently elected to serve their wards for the next two years. Following the certification of election results, David Ridgely (Ward 3), Pat Thompson (Ward 1), and Johnnie Franzeskos (Ward 2) took the oath and began their service by addressing new business.

Later in the meeting, outgoing alderman Sherry Jackson (Ward 2) was recognized for her time on the board by Mayor Newberry, other aldermen, and members of the city staff.
