Special Event Planning Forum Announced

Following months of discussion about special events in the city limits, the City of Lake Ozark is proud to host a Special Event Planning Forum on June 22nd.

Experienced event organizers from the lake area will be discussing best practices of event organizing, volunteer recruitment strategies, and other important topics.

“It is important that event coordinators or people wanting to become more involved with events attend”, says Lake Ozark Police Chief Gary Launderville. “We want to streamline the planning process and build a partnership to make events easier to pull off for everyone- the coordinator, tourists, residents, businesses, and city staff.”

A flyer with information about the forum and presenters can be found at this link.  Organizers, citizens, and business owners who hope to attend can register for the forum at no cost using this RSVP link.
