Police Week in Lake Ozark: On May 12, Mayor David Ridgely officially proclaimed this week as Police Week in the City of Lake Ozark. The proclamation was presented to the Lake Ozark Police Department in honor of the men and women of law enforcement who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, while also recognizing the dedication and service of officers who continue to protect and serve our community each day. 2024 Citizens Academy Accepting Applications

For the first time, the City of Lake Ozark will be hosting a multi-week Citizens Academy this fall.  

This program is designed to get Lake Ozark residents and stakeholders more informed and engaged in how their government operates.  Identified as a priority by the Board of Aldermen in 2024, the Citizens Academy aims to “inform residents of local government structure and services, and create more fluency throughout community.
