Staff Celebrate Holiday Season

Officer Carson Remembered: At the September 10, 2024 Board of Aldermen meeting, Mayor Newberry issued a proclamation in memory of Osage Beach Police Officer Phylicia Carson, who recently passed away in the line of duty. In the days since Officer Carson's passing, the lake community has shown a tremendous amount of support for her family and those who serve as emergency responders. "Let us never forget her example of selfless service to others"

Today at lunch, city staff were treated to a Christmas food party organized by Mayor and Mrs. Newberry. Thanks should be given to local businesses who donated food for the staff, including Alley Cats Pizzeria, Woods Supermarket, and Casablanca Pub and Grille.

At this lunch, Mayor Newberry thanked the city staff for their hard work and dedication, and shared hope that the city would have more success and growth in the new year.
