Officer Carson Remembered: At the September 10, 2024 Board of Aldermen meeting, Mayor Newberry issued a proclamation in memory of Osage Beach Police Officer Phylicia Carson, who recently passed away in the line of duty. In the days since Officer Carson's passing, the lake community has shown a tremendous amount of support for her family and those who serve as emergency responders. "Let us never forget her example of selfless service to others"
That was the year that was. Yes, it certainly was. The year 2020 started out with great expectations among most of us, especially the lake-area communities that continued to enjoy revenue increases.
