Small Business Saturday – Holiday Passport Stroll: Mayor David Ridgely has proclaimed Saturday, November 29th, 2025 as Small Business Saturday in Lake Ozark. Part of a nationwide initiative to encourage people to shop and support locally owned businesses in their own community, the Bagnell Dam Strip Association is hosting their Light Up The Strip event for a festive day of shopping, strolling, dining and holiday cheer! New this year is the Holiday Passport Stroll, where area businesses are stamping event passports so that folks who visit several businesses may be entered to win a prize package. Work Begins on Bagnell Dam Boulevard

On September 18th, workers with Capital Paving commenced work on the final phase of surface upgrades to Bagnell Dam Boulevard.

The third project in the past year to resurface the roadway will see new asphalt laid in place after the old surface is removed, from the intersection with the Osage Beach Parkway to the Highway MM overpass.  Once completed, all three lanes will have a new surface that should last for years to come, following successful projects by the same contractor in 2024 to resurface the roadway from Bagnell Dam to the MM overpass.

Contractors anticipate that this project will take four days to complete.  When finished, they will turn their attention to other roads for resurfacing- School, Valley, Ballenger, and Thornsberry.  Falcon Drive, currently a gravel road, will be paved as well, in the first of many planned gravel road replacement projects over the next few years.  Crews will also work to restripe the City-maintained portion of the Osage Beach Parkway.
