Work Begins on Bagnell Dam Boulevard

On September 18th, workers with Capital Paving commenced work on the final phase of surface upgrades to Bagnell Dam Boulevard.

The third project in the past year to resurface the roadway will see new asphalt laid in place after the old surface is removed, from the intersection with the Osage Beach Parkway to the Highway MM overpass.  Once completed, all three lanes will have a new surface that should last for years to come, following successful projects by the same contractor in 2024 to resurface the roadway from Bagnell Dam to the MM overpass.

Contractors anticipate that this project will take four days to complete.  When finished, they will turn their attention to other roads for resurfacing- School, Valley, Ballenger, and Thornsberry.  Falcon Drive, currently a gravel road, will be paved as well, in the first of many planned gravel road replacement projects over the next few years.  Crews will also work to restripe the City-maintained portion of the Osage Beach Parkway.
