Jeep Invasion Returns to Bagnell Dam Strip: Tomorrow (9/26) and Saturday (9/27) from 9:00 A.M.-1:30 A.M., the Bagnell Dam Strip will be closed for participants of the 2nd Annual Lake of the Ozarks Jeep Invasion event. This closure will be from School Road to the Valley Road intersection by Bagnell Dam. Valley Road will remain open as a detour for traffic. Public parking is available at the Ameren-owned lot below Bagnell Dam during daylight hours. In addition to all kinds of Jeeps for people to look at, the event will feature several vendors, shows, and concerts. Bagnell Dam Boulevard Improvements Nearing Completion

There have been many steps along the way for the City’s planned surface improvements and road enhancements to Bagnell Dam Boulevard, which began in the planning stages in 2023.

With the recent completion of Phase Three on our roadmap, we look forward to beginning work on a sidewalk expansion project from Henderson Lane to the HH intersection in the coming months.

The City appreciates the support and patience that our residents, businesses, and tourists have granted us over the years as we have worked to complete these projects.

An updated version of the City’s Capital Improvement Plan will be published before year-end to continue highlighting road, water, and sewer improvements and maintenance projects that we will be undertaking over the next several years.
